Kristina is a former professional pitcher and collegiate Hall of Famer. She won numerous awards during her tenure at Cal, before going pro and playing in Europe. Towards the end of her playing career, she became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, with the goal of helping young athletes improve their speed and agility on the field and decreasing their chance for injury. Kristina works full time as a private fastpitch pitching instructor and team/group strength and conditioning coach.
Four years ago, Kristina and her husband got their first dog together, a cane corso named Laefa. She has been active in dog sports ever since (conformation, rally, trick dog). Currently, Kristina has two of Laefa’s puppies enrolled in agility classes through Diablo Peak Dog sports. Kristina will be offering strength and conditioning classes (for people) at Diablo Peak Dog Sports. These classes will combine her expertise as a certified strength and conditioning specialist with her knowledge of handler fitness/performance requirements for dog agility training.
